We would highly recommend! We attended a wedding July 27th and stayed an extra night to enjoy the beach and town. Very clean rooms! Beds comfortable, maid services tops. Plus when we got there we had a problem with the balcony railing being lose, by the time we got our luggage back to the room it was fixed. Yes, it is older but it's maintained nicely. Many complained about the noise of the air cond. but we liked it as it allowed us NOT to hear outside sounds, but we sleep with a fan year round so the fan noise was welcomed on our part. The reception was 5 stars the food was AMAZING and the view was breath taking! The beach is FREE, retails for umbrella $10 and beach chairs $5 was worth it for comfort, the "beachboy" sets it up and comes back at the end of day to pick them up, you do nothing :) OH best pizza was GROTTO but very disappointed with Jake's Steak and Sea food don't eat there its very expensive for the quality. We will try one on the board walk next time they all looked good as you can see the food walking by.

Great stay at the Henlopen Hotel, our first time to Rehoboth Beach at the quiet time of the spring, we enjoyed walking on the boardwalk and the beautiful oceanview room with great rates and of course views, would love to come back again some day. The staff at the check in desk were great and very helpful. the hotel location was perfect

This was the second summer vacation we have took our vacation at Rehoboth and the second stay at the Henolpen. We love it. Its a nice & clean, staff friendly hotel. Plus its on the quiet end of the boardwalk. If we ever come back to Deleware we will use this hotel again would def. recomend this hotel to all friends and family.

We decided to go to Rehobeth Beach for a day at the beach and went online to find a hotel with an ocean view. We found a couple of hotels however when we read the reviews on them the remarks were horrible. My husband came across Henlophen and read the reviews and they were all good. We booked a reservation and when we arrived we were first impressed with the professionalism and courteous staff. The gentleman who checked us found us a nice room with an ocean view. The hotel and room were very clean and comfortable. We were allowed to leave our car parked in the garage after we checked out while we enjoyed the beach a little while longer and when we were finished on the beach we were allowed to shower in the hotel's shower/restroom areas which were very clean and equipped with fresh clean towel and showers before we left for home. I also forget and left an outfit hanging in the ladies room and when I called the hotel to inform them of this the clerk found my clothes and is mailing them to me at no cost to me. I love this hotel and we will definitely return and soon.

My wife and I had a get away for a few days and loved staying at this hotel. Loved how it was located at the quite end of the boardwalk and only steps away from the beach. The only thing we found that was a little inconvenient was the size of the bathroom. Not a whole lot of room to move in them and having the sinks located outside of the bathroom was a little off to but other than that we very much loved our stay. We would recommend this hotel to family and friends also the whole beach was great. If we make a future visit we would probably stay there again.

WE JUST ATTENDED A WEDDING THAT WAS HELD A SALERO AND STAYED AT THE HENLOPEN FOR THE WEEKEND. THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. THE ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THAT THE BED WAS LOW AND YOU COULD FEEL THE SPRINGS IN THE MATTRESS.ALTHOUGH WE ARE NOT FROM THAT AREA I WOULD RECOMMEND IT BECAUSE IT IS SO CONVIENT TO EVERYTHING AND IS ON THE BOARDWALK. THE SALERO WAS THE PERFECT PLACE TO HAVE A WEDDING RECEPTION. IT WAS JUST BEAUTIFUL AND THE STAFF WAS EXCELLENT. THANKS FOR A GREAT WEEKEND!!

Visited Rehoboth Beach for the first time, and fell in love with it. This hotel was wonderful, too. Great, quiet location but close to the family fun. The views of the ocean were nice, and the parking garage was secure and easy. The free breakfast was adequate, and the air conditioner was a little loud. I would stay here again, the price was right.

We have stayed here for 3 successive summer vacations, & have never been disappointed! Most recently (during the seemingly endless 100+ degree weather), our room AC broke...The staff replaced it within an hour of being notified. I need to mention that although our room accomodation request was not fulfilled (2 double beds requested--we were given a room with 1 king-size bed), the Henlopen staff more than made up for this--by upgrading us to an ocean view room at no additional charge! The hotel room rate was extreeeeemely reasonable, & definitely more reasonable than other Rehoboth boardwalk hotels. Our family loves the continental breakfasts, & we have always found the desk & maintenance staff to be pleasant & responsive.

my stay was excellent. traci and laura were wonderful, as were the evening clientele. i can't imagine where the negative comments are coming from. i will be back as soon as possible.
